Composers Edition is very happy to welcome Terence Allbright. Perhaps more widely known to date as a pianist, Allbright has performed across the world and the UK including the Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, South Bank Centre. Most audiences will have come across his music so as listeners to BBC Radio drama, for which he has composed, performed and directed more than 40 scores. Returning to concert music, he has since 1996 been composing continuously and recent works include …isms for piano, two Trios for violin, cello & piano and Snapshots for ensemble. He has recently completed Wondrous Machine – a set of toccatas for organ, and is working on Narratives & Rituals for piano trio with percussion. Allbright says:
