Richard Whalley has been invited to teaching on two composition summer schools this year. Places are still open, so do apply:
Richard is this year’s Guest Director at the Irish Composition Summer School, where he will teach alongside Gráinne Mulvey and Martin O’Leary, and present seminars on his music. The summer school is from 4-13 July, and includes the opportunity to write for the ConTempo string quartet (with electronics if required).
Deadline for application: 8th June
Richard will also be teaching alongside Peter Swinnen on the Composition Masterclass, and performing on the piano at the ARAM-Poitou Summer School in France from 4-11 August. This provides the opportunity for intensive tuition on a project of the students’ choice, with opportunities for workshops, discussions and collaborations with performers. Applications for this are still open.Richard Whalley Profile & Works
