Robert Peate Performances by Living Songs & the Pelléas Ensemble

Robert Peates’ Four Early Love Songs will be performed by Living Songs (Jessica Summers, soprano & Jelena Makarova, piano) on Friday 9 July at the chapel of the Royal Foundation of St Katharine in Limehouse, 7pm.

As part of their LIVING SONGS project Jessica Summers (soprano) & Jelena Makarova (piano) give an evening recital showcasing songs by living composers alongside more traditional repertoire. From seventeenth century laments to Namibian folk songs, this recital will take you on a romantic rollercoaster and includes the premiere of Robert Peate’s Four Early Love Songs.

Pelléas Ensemble

Also on Friday 9 July the Pelléas Ensemble gives a second performance of Three Diversions at the Buxton International Festival, 12 noon.

Four Early Love Songs and Three Diversions are proudly available for perusal and purchase through our website alongside other works by Robert Peate.
