Richard Pantcheff’s latest piece for solo violoncello, written during the pandemic, will receive its first public performance at the Tanglewood Festival, Massachusetts, USA, 7 August.
The work …the field long-slept in pastoral green… was commissioned by Mickey Katz, cellist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, who will perform the piece at the festival. The performance will be available for streaming from 07 to 14 August on Tanglewood Music Festival online.
