Philip Cashian ‘Ballad of the Moon, Moon’ Première with Andrew Watts at the Marylebone Festival

Philip Cashian has a premiere on Thursday 22 July:

Ballad of the Moon, Moon commissioned by the Marylebone Festival for Andrew Watts (counter tenor) and Gavin Roberts (piano).

The evening will feature conversation and music by composers associated with the neighbouring Royal Academy of Music. A unique opportunity to hear direct from the composers themselves and to chat with them in person after hearing their music. The performance will include new commissions from Joseph Howard, Philip Cashian, current RAM students Louise Drewett and Geoffrey King, as well as music by Thomas Ades, Roxanna Panufnik, Joby Talbot, Paul Patterson, Nico Muhly and Judith Weir.

Ballad of the Moon, Moon is already available for perusal and purchase through our website, as well as other works by Philip Cashian.
