The Berkeley Ensemble will premiere Michael Cryne’s As Kingfishers Catch Fire on the 22nd November – at St. James Picadilly, London. The work has come about through a partnership with PRS Accelerate scheme.

The Royal Scottish National Orchestra will premiere Cryne’s Open the Eastern Windows at Usher Hall Edinburgh on the 23rd November, and again at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on the 24th November, conducted by the RSNO’s newly appointed music director Thomas Søndergård. Open the Eastern Windows which takes its title from the Henry Longfellow poem Children was the winner of the 2017:18 Composers Hub
