On Thursday 30 June at 7:30pm Colin Riley’s Shenanigans for clarinet/bass clarinet and piano will be performed by Jean Johnson and Danny Driver at St Nicholas Parish Church, Bradfield Festival of Music, Derbyshire.
This is the second time that Jean Johnson and Dany Driver perform this suite of quirky pieces which have proved a huge success with recent concert society audiences, showcasing a variety of moods and techniques and full of wit and surprise.
Shenanigans have also been recorded on Colin Riley’s NMC disc of the same name, which was described in the Guardian as ‘Wry, understated and slightly bonkers’.
