We are delighted with the news that three commissions have all been confirmed for Ian Stephens in the last few weeks:
A substantial duo for violin and cello, a string quartet commissioned for performance on a new quartet of instruments built by Paul Bryant, and an octet for four solo voices and string quartet to a new text by Isabel Rogers.
Ian is also planning a new piece for narrator and orchestra designed for family concerts, to a story by Ruth Rosales.
Future performance plans include Manchester Chamber Choir to premiere Song of Hope in June, and Hummingbird to be featured in Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Company Brass Band‘s next performance.

We are looking forward to all these new works and performances!
