This month presents performances of Ian Stephens’ works for clarinet, and a choir and orchestra premiere.
On Monday 3 June Stephens’ Clarinet Quintet is performed by Mandy Burvill and Liverpool String Quartet at the Liverpool Philharmonic Music Room.
Later in the month, on Saturday 29 June Mandy Burvill performs Stephens’ Clarinet Concerto with New Bristol Sinfonia conducted by Matthew Scott Rogers at Victoria Rooms, Bristol.
On Wednesday 26 June 2019, Choirs and Orchestra of Sherborne School for Girls premieres Sounds and Sweet Airs conducted by John Jenkins at Sherborne School for Girls, Dorset.
Ian Stephens’ Clarinet Quintet and Clarinet Concerto are proudly available for purchase through Composers Edition website. Sounds and Sweet Airs will be also available shortly after its premiere.
