Robert Peate’s January from Mensis Meditations for organ and cello will be premiered in Leominster Priory, Herefordshire on Sunday 10 April at 7pm.
January is the first in a projected series of monthly miniatures for organ and cello, exploring the character and various other associations surrounding each month of the year. The piece is dedicated to the wonderful Hilary Norris (organ) and Joris Boon (cello).

This concert is hosted by the Herefordshire Composers’ Workshop, and features other new works for organ and cello.
The score of January will be available for perusal and purchase through Composers Edition website soon after the concert.
