On Saturday 30 April at 5pm Christina Meissner (cello) will give a second performance of John Palmer’s Lux Ardens at the idyllic Elisabeth am See, in Caputh, Germany.
Lux Ardens is the opening piece of a cycle of new works for cello dealing with the notion of light and inspired by the visions of medieval mystic Hildegard of Bingen. The work has been composed for cellist Christina Meissner.
We at Composers Edition look forward to publishing Lux Ardens and the complete cycle in due course.
