An array of Camden Reeves music being performed across the world in November
On Friday 1 November Tom Hicks will give the premiere of Blue Sounds for piano at the Galvin Recital Hall, Bienen School of Music, Evanston, Chicago. The recital will feature three of Reeves’ piano works – this new work, together with Tangle-Beat Blues and the Nine Preludes together with waltzes by Chopin.
On Sunday 3 November Juanmauel Flores plays Scordatura Squid I and II in Monterrey, Mexico.
Reeves’s three motets, Spells, Remedies and Potions, inspired by the Pendle Witch Trials of 1612, have been receiving a round of performances this autumn. On Sunday 8 November they will be performed at Lancaster Castle, and at the Anthony Burgess Centre in Manchester on Sunday 15 November.
