BBC Symphony Orchestra are giving the premiere of Richard Baker The Price of Curiosity on Friday 27 March in the Barbican debut of concert of conductor Alpesh Chauhan with the Orchestra. The 9 minute orchestral work juxtaposes a suspenseful and disturbing scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s The Man Who Knew Too Much with Doris Day’s rendition of ‘Whatever will be, will be’ originally composed and performed for that film.
Composers Edition is proud to present a range of Richard Baker’s works available for perusal and purchase through our website, to which The Price of Curiosity will be added in due course.
