Adam Gorb ‘Songs for My Father’ Première in Royal Academy of Music 200 Pieces Project

Adam Gorb’s Songs for My Father for mezzo soprano will be premiered by Mia Serracino-Inglott at the Royal Academy of Music on Monday 14 June at 6:30pm as part of their 200 pieces bicentenary celebrations.

Adam tells us about this new work:

Towards the end of his life my father, Peter Gorb, a lifelong poetry lover compiled an anthology of his favourite poems: ‘Love and Other Subjects.’ The poems chosen for Songs for My Father for mezzo soprano solo describe love from the woman’s perspective.

This concert will be live-streamed through the Royal Academy YouTube channel.

Songs for My Father will be available for perusal and purchase through our website shortly after its première.
