‘The Crossing’ by Cuban-American composer Odaline de la Martinez is now available on Composers Edition.
The piece, written for two voices, chorus and orchestra is the second part of the Slavery Trilogy and was commissioned by Tulane University with a grant from the Newcomb Institute in 2012. It was first performed by the Tulane, Xavier and Dillard University Choirs with the Louisiana Philharmonic in April 2013.
