March sees the premieres of two newly commissioned works by Stephen Roberts.
Triptych for Brass & Organ will receive its first performance on Saturday 10th March at 7.30 pm at the Bramall Elgar Concert Hall, University of Birmingham.
The Birmingham Symphonic Brass will be conducted by the composer, with Nick Wearne playing the recently built Marc Garnier organ. The programme also includes brass pieces by Edward MacDowell, Vivaldi and Giovanni Gabrieli as well as choral works by John Rutter, Elgar and Vaughan Williams.

On 18th March at 3.00 pm at Christ Church, Malvern, the Orchestra Pro Anima will give the premiere of Amaryllis Dances for solo viola and strings. Helen Roberts is the soloist, with the orchestra led by Michael Bochmann.

Also on 18th March at 3.00 pm the Pelleas Ensemble will give another performance of Moroccan Sketches at Hertford Music Club.
