Composers Edition is delighted to welcome Bushra El-Turk. Selected by the BBC as one of the most inspiring 100 Women, Bushra is making an impressive international name for herself with peformances across the world with some of the most prestigious orchestras and ensemles including BBC Symphony Orchesta, BCMG, Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra, Orkest de Ereprijs and New York’s Lunatics at Large ensemble. She is currently commissioned to write a piece for the Latvian Radio Choir and Saraband Ensemble as part of the ‘Song of Songs’ project.
The initial select of works for Composers Edition include two two-player piano works Dramaticule & Metaphysical Enemy, a string quartet Eating Clouds and Ta’attalat Loughatul Kalami (…speech broke down) for ‘cello and piano.
